The Centenary AM/AM team Stableford competition was held recently at Ryde Golf Course.

56 ladies played in extremely hot conditions and the winners were:

IWLGA PRESIDENT'S FROLICS

The President of the IWLGA, Janet Roberts held her Frolic competition at Cowes Golf Club on Monday March 21st 2022.

In lovely sunny conditions 64 ladies played a 9 Hole Texas Scramble, resulting in a draw between 2 teams.

The final of the IWLGA Fourball took place at Osborne Golf Club on Tuesday 27th September. The Association's President, Janet Roberts, acted as referee and was ably assisted by Julia Fauvel. Sheila Richard and Penny Diez from Freshwater GC (FW) and Bea Janes and Brenda Keyte from Shanklin & Sandown GC, (SS) both teams reaching the final on their first attempt, were there to win the Rosebowl Trophies.

FW were the first to make a move going 2 up over the first 9 holes and SS had to wait until the 13th to get the match back to all square. FW took the lead again on the 17th and SS won the 18th to take the contest to extra holes. It was honours even after the 19th and FW just edged it on the 20th to win a very close match.

Caddies and supporters then gathered in the club house to applaud all those taking part.
